The interior step in our TS 8.25 features a slip resistant pad - extras of this pad can be ordered and purchased from a dealer. The very base of the spa does feature a patterned surface to allow for additional grip.

You can go either route! If you’d like a flush conduit coming up from underneath the hot tub cabinet, we’ve included a helpful diagram in the Electrical Configuration section (https://www.masterspas.com/hot-tub-electrical-requirements/) of this website that shows the ideal entry point! This location avoids plumbing and gives you the smoothest path into the cabinet. If your pad is already poured or you prefer to bring the conduit in from the side, that works as well. You can enter from any side of the cabinet that best fits your setup. There’s enough clearance along the bottom perimeter of the spa to route your electrical supply. Once inside the cabinet, the wiring will need to be run internally to the spa pack. For the TS 8.25, the spa pack is located on the same side as the control dial, and when facing the controls, the electrical should enter from the left. Many customers find it easiest to come in through a corner for cleanest routing. Quick tip: electrical runs can get expensive the more wire your electrician needs to install. To help plan ahead, take a look at the Site Preparation section of your model’s owner’s manual (available on this website: https://www.masterspas.com/hot-tub-owners-manuals/ ) and share it with your electrician. It’ll make the setup easier and help ensure everything is prepared correctly!

The chemicals that came with your spa are a special gift from your individual dealer, they make starter kits with chemicals they themselves often sell directly either in a store or website. Please Note - Altering your spa pack and or electrical supply will change the energy certified specifications of your spa to something alternate to what we as the manufacturer intend and may be an important factor to keep in mind if ever troubleshooting an issue. Although we cannot specifically advise doing so, many control systems do offer capability to change how many components can operate together. You can change dipswitches on a Balboa pack (which Twilights current and in the past use) to allow the heater to run at the same time as your as 1 or more of your two speed pumps in High Speed instead of Low Speed. One of the reasons your spa normally behaves to heat on low speed is avoid nuisance tripping - running each of pumps at aprox 12 amps (max speed, the heater at the same time at aprox 12 Amps (max heating) as well as accessories like LEDs, ozones etc. - can be too much draw and pop the safety braker making you reset the spa. This may be why your tech recommended the higher amp breaker of 60A instead of 50A so your spa has a higher supply to draw from. We recommend as always to have your spa hookup professionally handled by a certified electrician to make sure you are receiving a proper supply and updated gauge of wire. You can also try altering to allow 1 High Speed pump (as Twilight 8. 25 have 2) to run while maintaining your 50 amp normal hookup.

In order to answer this question it is best to call or email into our line directly - as models have changed over the years so have parts and their current year equivalents/replacements. Your spa serial number can be found on the minimum fill line sticker, your owner's manual and a metal plate near the pack itself. If you can gather this it will be the most accurate way a rep can tell you what is supposed to be contained inside.
