Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great way to relax We enjoy our Balance 7 ,but we wish the menu controls were a bit more user friendly. One must be an engineer to figure our all the information in the manual. Keeping the water free of debris can be a challenge as well. There needs to be an easier way to drain it as well to change the water as well. We had to buy a sump pump to save time. We love the tub ,but daily upkeep can be another thing to occupy our time

We had a gouge in the top of hot tub upon delivery and the company told us they could send us a repair kit and then send someone out to repair it or send us a new hot tub. We felt the kit and repair would be suffice. But we just got the repair kit after 4 weeks and still have not had anyone out to repair the hot tub so we have not even gotten to fill the hot tub to put water in it and try it out! So here we are a Paid in Full hot tub we can't even use and for who knows how long!!!!!????? Until Customer Service decides to schedule someone? I bet if we didn't pay cash it would have been finished!

I have used it every morning & every evening, having only had it, for 5 days. I purchased my spa for ongoing back troubles, and I this has already helped the discomfort so much!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hot tub! I really love the look of my new hot tub. I went with Midnight Tuscan interior and dark walnut exterior. Very classy looking. The tub works great as expected. The only negative I would share is that when you fill and run the tub for the first time, there is a good deal of brown oily residue that turned the filter completely brown and left a ring around the tub. Initial chlorine levels on the test strip were off the charts also...despite filling the tub with artesian well water. I drained the tub, cleaned the filter, and now the water is testing as it should. Point is you should expect some leeching from the production process. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase!

The full lounger is my favorite — perfect for unwinding after work — and the StressRelief neck and shoulder seat delivers excellent targeted hydrotherapy. My wife and teenage kids (ages 19 and 16) love it too, making it great for our family of four. It heats up quickly, holds temperature well even in New York winters, and has been surprisingly energy efficient. The LED lighting creates a relaxing evening vibe. Maintenance with the EcoPur system is straightforward, though one headrest faded slightly in the sun (easily replaced under warranty). Overall, it’s exceeded our expectations and become part of our daily relaxation routine. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a comfortable, reliable hot tub.

How to set the clock on a new, balance 7 spa?

Clarity spas have a 12-hour cycle built into them from the moment they are energized. Where this is most important is your filter cycle, it operates at a set for a time of day by you powering on at the breaker and will repeat then every 12 hours. So, for instance, if your filter cycle is programed for 2 hours, if you were to power off at the GFCI spa breaker and then on again at 8pm you would see 2 hours at 8 pm and 2 hours at 8 am, totaling 4 hours per day of filtration.

Best energy settings. Current setting using a lot of electricity. There does not seems to be a lot of options except R mode and IR mode. Any help on ideal energy setting would be great

In general, we do recommend Standard Mode "R", that your filter is set for a min of 4.5 hours per day set for the cooler moments of the day - early morning or evening. Make sure your air controls are in a closed position when not in use so as not allow air in to cool your insulated tub. If this still is not suitable you can utilize the REST mode features "IR" - this changes the way the spa heats - it stops the spa's "polling for heat "cycle ( a feature that flips the pump on to test and decide if the water should heat every 30 mins.) and instead will only work on this during set filter cycles. This can conserve energy well if your spa is maintaining it's water temp well in the ambient temps like the summer but may be harder in the wintertime as the spa must run longer to catch up for lost heat, which why we recommend standard " out of rest mode" best. You can prolong filter times while in rest mode to allow more time for heating. In the end, how the spa works to heat is really based on your use and is a personal preference.

Are the magnets permanently mounted or can they be removed if a user has a pacemaker?

Magnets are placed on the shell before foaming - they can be removed once installed on an existing spa but often this is invasive to the new spa as they would need to dig into the foam, uninstall, and then replace the foam. The most common and often best route is to inform your dealer at order time to customize your spa to leave these magnets off your specific build when they place your order.

Dip settings - Electrician requested these be preset by installers, which they did not do. Can I be sure they are already preset for 240 V from factory?

All spas in the Clarity Balance 7 would be water tested and preset at the factory for 240v- there wouldn't be much of any instance where the spa would be set for anything alternative. If you wanted assurances, when the spa's pack or pc board is opened there is a diagram sticker placed on the inside of the pack lid from the manufacturer it has a table showing dipswitch settings, what they do, and their default settings which would be 240v You can also call or email customer service and they can walk you through what you should see. 1-800-860-7727 customerservice@masterspas.com

Water keeps running

Hello! More than likely your spa is simply heating, "polling" for heat, or is on a filter cycle- It depends on how your spa was configured but most standard builds will use the pump 1 for all these situations. You can observe your control panel for the heating indicator or navigate to your filter settings to check that you aren't set for a 24 hour or longer filter cycle by mistake. Your manual can be found here on our website under "ideas and support" - "owners manuals". The filters currently on a 2023 Clarity Precision 7 model with the standard ECO Pur filter are a X268548 or Pleatco - PMA-R3, and X268532 for the ECO Pur insert. If you are looking for a different model or are using an alternative to Dichlor Chlorine such as Bromine - keep in mind that you may need a different filter.
