Our first hot tub
we looked at hot tubs for two years before buying one, we were so excited to get it, poured a new slab stamped and colored it to look like slate, its beautiful, the we had the hot tub delivered, had the electrician come out and get it all wired, turned it on aannnnnndddd, wait for the drum roll.................................. NOTHING, it wont even come on, they sent someone out, then master spa said my SPA PANEL was wrong, so I had my electrician come back and put in a new one(not cheap), now they keep having a tech come(over and over), have not fixed anything, the spa has everything EXACTLY they way it shows in the manuals, still nothing. $22,000.00 for this,

Does not standby their product
Masterspa has zero quality control. 1st they the hot tub without terminal connections. Then there was no wifi module installed. They blamed this on dealer when it was on the order form submitted to them.
The dealer is a different other issue. I bought this through the big E. They sent the wrong cover lifter and proceeded to drill holes into the side of the tub again after the installers called the shop and told them it was wrong.
Masterspa is a joke. Their tubs aren’t worth $500. Go with Bullfrog or hotspring.

Yes the hot tub is great for my achy back and was recommended by my Dr. But we had several issues with delivery and then the control panel had to be replaced. And we do not like the lounge seat in this spa. You can’t sit in it without floating out of it. The jets are great and feel wonderful. And its large enough to float on a raft in it. Also on a large spa which is what we wanted….the cover is really heavy to lift for an old person. The sales person should maybe have shared that info with us.

Best hot tub made
Seriously the best hot tub I’ve ever bought. I have chronic back problems due to a car accident from an illegal T-bone in my truck two years ago. Probably one of the best decisions that were made is buying this tub. The Jets are so strong.

WE WENT WITH FRIENDS OF OURS WHO WANTED TO REPLACE THEIR HOT TUB . WE HADNT THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING A TUB AT ALL. THE FACTORY REP WE SPOKE WITH AT THE SHOW WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND EXPLAINED THE TUB VERY WELL. LONG STORY SHORT, I BOUGHT A MICHAEL PHELP LSX 900 ! THIS THING IS AWESOME !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I HAVE USED IT PRETTY MUCH EVERY DAY. OUR FRIENDS ENDED UP PURCHASING A SWIM SPA AND THE LSX800.
THE DELIVERY OF THE TUB WAS ON TIME AND WAS DONE BY A SECOND PARTY DELIVERY GUY. HE GOT IT PLACED AND THE TOP PUT ON AND HE WAS GONE. NO EXPLANATION OF HOW THE TUB WORKED., AS THERE ARE ALLOT OF AIR VALVES AND SETTINGS. ( THIS WAS THE ONLY NEGATIVE PART OF THIS TRANSACTION) CODY FROM ATLANTA POOL AND SPA WAS AMAZING EXPLAINING THINGS OVER THE PHONE AND TEXT MESSAGE. THIS IS MY FIRST SPA SO I HAD NO IDEA HOW THINGS WORKED, AFTER TRAIL AND ERROR AND A LEARNING CURVE WE GOT THIS THING FIGURED OUT. WE HAVE ONNLY HAD ONE GLITCH WITH THE START SCREEN GOING BLANK. WE RESET THE POWER TO THE TUB AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE CORRECTED ITSELF

We enjoy the tub.. however
I wish the seats all had consistent jet pressure. The seats about 7, but because the seats have a shared pressure, the more people in the tub the lower the pressure. Also the tub arrived with one of the filters ( one with orange core) cross threaded in the tub, so it’s not easy to take out to clean and put back in. I also asked for clarification on the cancer warning sticker on the tub and dealer (Krevco Lifestyles) was unable to comment. On first fill the water was brown and swampy looking, and was creating a yellow ring around the tub. Don’t know if that’s normal or not, but did clear up. The filters looked very soiled.

Issues at the very start
Issues were: stickers on the inside of the tub were hard to get off, and when rubbed off floating paper particles got into the filters. Value for the waterfall did not close completely, two of the eight dream lights were dimmer than the others.

Disappointing: not working with 3phase electricity
The purchase of MasterSpa LSX 900 turned out to be big disappointment. We hoped for a high quality product and prepared electrical installation according to the dealers advices, but since the hot tub arrived (Nov 2022) they could not get it to work on 3-phase electricity (as of March 2023). As a result, we got 8-person spa which could be used by maximum 2 persons at a time (as only one pump can work on full speed simultaneosly). It's a big disappointment, as for 5 months MasterSpa did not come with a solution. Be careful when buying this product and look for better alternatives! We still hope to get our spa fixed and I know it's a common problem among international versions, but no one came with a solution or even a repair schedule.

Does the cover Open on the 8ft side or 9 ft side?
Our standard covers are designed to open away from the topside controller. The controller is located on the 108' or 9 foot side of the spa.

What is the height from the base to the top of the cabinet, not including the lip of the interior that comes over? I am planning to install the spa recessed in a deck so I would like to know this dimension.
The overall height of a LSX900 is 38" - the flange or lip of the spa is approximately 4" from the top of the spa. Due to slight variations in the acrylic and the way it is formed we always recommend fully having possession of the spa if measurement is needing to be exact on installation to landscaping.

Thank you for contacting us. Your dealer would be able to recommend everything you need for your water. If you bought the spa at a show, there should be a contact on the receipt that you could call.
The essential chemicals that are usually needed are the following:
-pH up and down
-Non-Chlroine shock
-Sequestering agent
-sanitizers.

What is the recommended cover lifter to use with this tub?

Are there any differences between the 2021 model LSX 900 Electrical Hookup Diagram and the 2020 MPS 900 Electrical Hookup Diagram? If so can you post a link to the 2021 model?

I see the overall dimensions of 108x94 is listed for the LXS900. What are the dimensions of the black bottom base (L x W), also the height of that base?
Hello! Assuming you're talking about the ABS pan bottom, it would be 105" x 91 3/8". The height would be 3.5". Hopefully this helps!

Have an LSX900 on order. Looking for what side of the unit to bring the power to so I can get the power roughed in to that point. Assuming it would be one of the corners where I would need to stub/locate the conduit. Is there a drawing available?
