Let the relaxation begin

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new hot tub.
I love my hot tub and look forward to years of amazing use, BUT, the you really need to update your user videos to have one for every line. As an example, the panels ARE NOT all the same. Or ship it with a water proof quick start pamphlet, no one reads manuals anymore.
Make it simple and easy!
But In love your product!

Great Hot tub
This is an excellent hot tub. We use it regularly and it is easy to maintain and keep clean. When we allow anyone else in it they cannot believe how much better it feels than other hot tub products. It feels so therapeutic on any sore muscles and joints. I particularly love the master jets on sore feet or hips. Been able to slow down on physio appointments with the help of this tub!

Not worth the price!
I use it a lot, pressure of jets is good but definitely not worth $18,000. The lounger is nice, the shoulder jets spray water everywhere when using and are very loud, foot jets are powerful but splash too much, definitely get your face & hair wet.

The pump that runs the lounge seat and waterfall is very loud, while the other pumps are very quiet. Is that normal or do I need it looked at? It's brand new.
Yes absolutely - this would be a great reason to have a discussion with a servicer. There are a few things why this could happen. But having a service person on site is the best choice. Re: circ pump video:, the voiceover says that the pump goes 24/7 to filter the water, THEN states that the circ pump works at preset intervals. Which is it? MUST the circ pump run 24/7 or can I set circ pump intervals?
If you opted to add the 24/7 circ pump addition for your spa- it is made to be able to work 24/7 however you still must set this filtration setting. Your new spa will come set with standard filter cycles for a standard non circulation spa by default.

I purchased the Michael Phelps Legend Series LSX 700. I need to know where the electrical access panel is located on the spa to set the electrical box, Thanks
To access the electrical panel, Remove the front skirt panel (this is the side where the topside control panel is located) so the electrical can be hooked up to the spa control system. This panel is removed by unscrewing the screws securing the skirt corners and the front skirt panel. If you have further questions, please give us a call at 800.860.7727

We have had the hot tub for just over a year now and started seeing dark specks floating in the tub. It turns out the pillows have broken down and are peeling chunks into the tub. Our hot tub before this we had for over 8 years and this didn't happen.
Hello! Are you rinsing your spa pillows as suggested in the owner's manual? This will remove chemical residue and help prolong the life of the pillows. I would also recommend leaving the cover off of your hot tub for about 15 minutes after adding chemicals as the off gas can cause similar damage. Further to a question by Molly4412, screwing the newly-cleansed Eco-Pur filter into the core closest to the control panel, backing off a 1/4 turn, there is next to no bubble activity from the circulation pump. We put the regular filter there, thoughts?
If you have a circ pump you really just need to make sure the EcoPur filter is the one closest to the control panel. If you have any other questions please call (800) 860-7727.

Hi, I asked a question regarding pump specs about 10 months ago but forgot to mention that ours is a U.K. version. It's a Michael Phelps 7 (sold by Blue Wave Spas AKA Hot Tub Superstore). Is the US version more powerful with bigger pumps or the same ?
The international pumps on the MPL/LSX line would be 2 two speed 10.3 amp pumps and a one speed 10 amp pump.

Does it matter what filter goes on which side? I took my filters out to clean and didn't pay attention to which was where?
Hi Molly! Good question. It really only matters if your spa has a 24 hour circulation pump. Our typical standard is to put the EcoPur 2 piece filter set closest to the topside control panel. Hope this helps!

Thanks Kayla, that's very helpful. What are the limiting factors fitting bigger pumps pulling more amps ? Is it my power supply to the spa ? Or the Balboa electrical control components within the spa ? If that makes sense ?
