Rated 5 out of 5 by from A happy thing for the family Very high quality. Happy with purchase The grandchildren want to come over more often. Super well insulated. I was using it at 102 degrees and when finished set it to 98 degrees and put the cover. It was 12 hours later mostly around 40 degrees the whole time and it only lowed to 100. Very impressive

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not sure if its worth the hype. I was so excited to get my first hot tub. However, I wish that I didn't pick LSX 800. I should have tested this hot tub prior to making a purchase. For me the lounge area of this tub is useless. A persons body tends to float in water especially if your thicker than a snicker like myself. I'm guessing the theory is to float in place while the hydro jets provide therapy /massage to your lower back and legs but with the water and air bubbles your body can not stay in place and you can't keep your head rested on the pillow unless you hold yourself in position with your foot pushing against the opposite end of the lounge. I can barely reach that position and I'm 6' tall. Also there is not a good location to place or rest your right arm while trying to stay seated in the lounge either. Now lets talk about the water fall. Aka crotch wash. Going back to floating in the lounge area and if you can maintain your position in that area where the waterfall located and if it is on. The water crashes down on your mid section. In my opinion the water fall would have been better placed on the opposite side of the tub and let the water hit the back side of your neck. The area labeled Pump 1B is a nice area to sit with the exception of the four jets that are above the waterline designed to to give your shoulders therapy. The water tends to bounce off your back and shoulders and either splashes up and over your head or you flood your eardrums with water. There are diverters and or valves to adjust the water flow however the two outer jets do not change direction of flow no matter what position you aim the jets at. By making changes in the water flow to remove the splash you also take away from the other jets that are designed to give a person relief. The diverter valves when positioned semi closed are very noisy so the only way to eliminate the noise is to fully open or close the valve. The entry exit platform...Wow, Not a great design. at the bottom of the tub just below the platform for entry and exit there are two return suction ports. The ports should have been located somewhere else in the tub. On entry you tend to drag your heel across the top edge of the suction port cover. On exit from the tub you can play a game of pinky toe soccer with the suction port cover. The LSX 800, so far seems to be a good tub. A little noisy with the valves and a couple design issues but overall a nice product. I would not have purchased this style of tub if I would have know about the lounge area being an issue. The tub is not the Mercedes of tubs as promised by the sales rep. Disappointed for the $$ that I spent on this tub.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice installation The spa was delivered when asked to a still wet yard. The cover was delivered and installed after we had the electricity connected. One jet pops out easily but otherwise in great condition with easy control panel

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not impressed with quality and function of unit upon first use had valves braking when turned, so far i have 3 broken and the band around them as well, its one of the harder hot tubs that we have owned to keep clean with out putting a bunch of chemicals in it. the design of the control flow valves dont make sense, why have a valve control 2 seats (example.. if you take away pressure from one to add to the other, some one in one of those seats is sitting with hardly no pressure) so how can it be a 5-6 person tub when you all cannt enjoy the unit running at same time. finally how can a dealer sell the hot tub and not service them .... WAIT they do but you have to pay for the sub contractor repair mans travel expense of $100..so after paying $23000.00, not having it for a month and all this has happened id have to say we are not very happy with this unit. OOO the dealer did send me new valves to put on or pay for repairman and they dont even match the ones that are on it so now ill have miss matched valves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but… Overall it is a decent Hot Tub but do NOT get the QuietFlo circulation pump. The pump is so loud I can clearly hear it from over 75 feet away (exceeds 55db). A Master Spas customer service representative said this was normal. Super disappointed because it is not quiet and can not be turned off. Calling this pump quiet is misleading an not something I expected from a premium brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a cold night. This hot tub is amazing! The jets are very powerful and it stays hot! I’ve had it for a couple months and haven’t noticed a huge increase in my electric bill.

Do all the spa pumps rver turn off completely? Our pump 1 remains operational at a low level. If so hoe do we shut it off?

Asked by: Andrea 82
In a standard our Pump 1 will remain on low to do things like filter and heat but would shut off after. Check to make sure you are not doing either - you should have a heating indicator on your control and be able to set filter cycles based on time. If in your spa you have 24 hour circulation pump (you should see this upgrade on your spa contract or if you upgraded to use a UV ozone accessory) this is made to run all the time -24 hours. If you need help figuring out what is actually in your spa build and how to operate it gather your spa serial number from the minimum fill line sticker in the tub and call us at 1-800-860-7727.

Where does the wire run into the hot tub side, bottom or where running wire to gfi now hot want be delivered till next week I need to know location of entrances of wire from breaker to spa

Asked by: Anonymous
Your GFCI will be wired into the pack or motherboard of your spa- you can reach out to your dealer or customer service at 800-860-7727 or support@masterspas.com to request a diagram of where you pack is located. On our website under Ideas and Support you can find the area Electrical Requirements (https://www.masterspas.com/hot-tub-electrical-requirements/) in which we recommend the safe area for conduiting up from the concrete if you are intending to hide your cable. Otherwise, your GFCI can go into your cabinet at any side of your spa and be snaked to your pack for hookup - you will need to make a knockout or hole cut in the plastic siding for this access- we normally recommend a corner as the easiest location.

I have a LSX 800. My pump 2 (lounger) will shut off after ~20 mins. I can press The jets button and it will light up (to indicate the pump is on) but no water comes out and I cannot hear the pump. Will work again after an hour or so.   Is pump defective?

Asked by: CHD2016
Hello Based on your information, your pump is overheating and shutting down. The pump won't turn on until it's cooled down. We recommend that you contact the dealer where the spa was purchased. If you need assistance contacting the dealer, please email us at support@masterspas.com with your spa serial number.

I bought an LSX 800 and wanted to know how thick the concrete slab to support it should be and how deep in the ground. Where do I put the power in and where is the front of the tub facing. (questions my contractor has). Thanks.

Asked by: Slamphilos
I would be glad to assist you. Foundation The recommended foundation is a concrete pad with a minimum thickness of four inches with steel reinforcement bars crossed throughout the pad. We have one of your spas but we are now moving and leaving it for the new owner. We are moving to Idaho where the weather is cooler and wondering if we can inset the spa into the ground leaving room to get to the panel?

Asked by: Leslie
Yes, the spa can go in ground with a recommended 3ft radius around the spa for equipment access. You can read more under the "Site Preparation / General Guidelines" section of the owner's manual. Hope this helps!
